Equipped with the Velineon 3S brushless power system, it reaches speeds of over thirty-five miles per hour on a 2S LiPo battery and more than fifty miles per hour on a 3S LiPo battery without requiring gearing changes. Its low center of gravity chassis, heavy-duty upgrades, and long-travel suspension deliver confident handling across pavement, dirt, and rough terrain. A clipless painted body and reinforced construction make maintenance quick while standing up to demanding driving conditions.

High-Performance Brushless Electronics

The Velineon® VX3 water-resistant electronic speed control and Velineon V3200 brushless motor provide strong acceleration, efficient power delivery, and high-speed performance. The VX3 ESC features a large aluminum heat sink with a cooling fan, EZ-Set® one-button programming, three selectable drive profiles, high-resolution linear braking, and Traxxas Link™ telemetry compatibility. A water-resistant 2057 metal-gear steering servo delivers durable steering performance, while the TQi™ Sport 2.4GHz radio system offers long-range control, fail-safe protection, simple programming, and memory for up to thirty models.

Extreme Heavy-Duty Strength & Suspension

The factory-installed Extreme Heavy-Duty Upgrade Kit reinforces critical suspension and steering components with strengthened caster blocks, axle carriers, steering blocks, Maxx Duty® driveshafts, oversized six-millimeter axles, and steel wheel hexes for improved durability under brushless power. Composite GTR shocks feature threaded collars for precise ride height adjustment, large oil capacity for consistent damping, powder-coated springs, and durable 3.5-millimeter shafts. The low-CG modular chassis, reinforced wheelie bar, and high-approach front bumper help the truck remain composed during aggressive driving and rough landings.

Efficient Drivetrain & Confident Traction

A torque-biasing center drive works with the full-time shaft-driven 4WD system, oil-filled steel gear differentials, large 32-pitch steel gears, and a one-piece center driveshaft to efficiently transfer power to all four wheels. The large 2.8-inch wheels paired with Talon EXT tires provide dependable grip and predictable handling across a variety of surfaces, while Traxxas Stability Management® (TSM) enhances straight-line acceleration, braking, and steering control on low-traction terrain.
