Traxxas TXC-4M Extreme Crawler 1/18 4WD RTR Brushless Rock Crawler (Blue) w/TQ 2.4GHz Radio, Battery & Charger

Extreme Mini Crawler with 3S Brushless Performance

The Traxxas® TXC-4M™ Extreme Crawler 1/18 4WD RTR Brushless Rock Crawler brings a purpose-built approach to extreme-scale crawling, combining a lightweight monocoque chassis with a low-mounted electronics layout and substantial ground clearance. Its 3S brushless power system works with a high-reduction driveline to provide precise throttle control and strong torque at very low crawling speeds. Portal axles, competition-grade steering, and high-grip Stone Claw™ tires mounted on licensed beadlock 1.3-inch Method Race Wheels® give the TXC-4M the hardware to tackle demanding terrain while maintaining stability and traction. The complete ready-to-run package also includes a 3S LiPo battery, USB-powered iD® charger, and TQ™ 2.4 GHz radio system.

About the TXC-4M Extreme Crawler

Rigid Monocoque Chassis

The TXC-4M uses a single-piece composite monocoque chassis designed to provide more torsional rigidity than a conventional ladder frame while reducing weight. The battery and ESC are positioned low in the chassis on opposite sides to improve weight distribution, while integrated rock-light mounting and wire routing keep the electronics installation organized. Additionally, its lay-down shock design and triangulated four-link suspension use high-clearance lower links to maintain clearance.

3S Brushless Power System

A 3350kV brushless outrunner motor paired with a 3S brushless ESC featuring Field Oriented Control provides precise throttle response and low-speed control. The ESC offers three drive profiles to suit different types of driving, including Sport Mode, Trail Mode with a trail-tuned drag brake, and Crawl Mode with instant reverse and 100% hill-holding brake. The included 11.1-volt 3S LiPo battery supplies the power needed for the high-reduction driveline, allowing extremely slow crawling speeds while retaining strong torque for technical terrain.

Portal Axles & Competition-Grade Steering

Portal axles raise the TXC-4M at the wheels to increase clearance beneath the center pumpkins while moving gear reduction away from the differentials to reduce torque twist. The full-time shaft-driven 4WD system uses locked axles with steel-spool gears, steel axle shafts and U-joints, a 25% overdrive front axle, heavy-duty CV center driveshafts, and an all-metal single-speed transmission. For maneuverability, the water-resistant 2265 metal-gear steering servo provides 75oz-in of torque and a 60° steering angle, while high-clearance drag and suspension links help prevent the chassis from catching on obstacles. Oil-filled aluminum GTM Pro shocks provide smooth, controlled damping, and steel front portal weights add low-mounted mass for improved wheel contact and rollover resistance.
